7.) Approval of Resolution 11-0007 to Amend the Nea Charter to Extend Term from Three years to FiveYears

Background: Staff is recommending approval of the request to extend the term of the Nea charter. The Board approved the extension.

8.) Approval of Resolution 11-0009 to Refinance the Districts 2000 Certificate of Participation (COP)

Background: Staff is recommending refinancing debt from 2000. Current debt is being charged 5.76% and it is possible to refinance at 4.29%. The Board approved the refinancing of the debt.

Fiscal Implications: $130,000.
