Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

If you are interested in personal development I highly recommend you purchase Steven Covey's book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I read it for the first time in early 90s and I find myself going back to it as I learn more about myself and the others I interact with.

Here are condensed summaries of the key concepts from his book:

PARADIGMS AND PRINCIPLES

  • Inside-Out
  • PRIVATE VICTORY

  • Habit One: Be Proactive
  • Habit Two: Beginning with the End in Mind
  • Habit Three: Put First Things First
  • PUBLIC VICTORY

  • Habit Four: Think Win-Win
  • Habit Five: Seek to Understand, Then Be Understood
  • Habit Six: Synergize
  • RENEWAL

  • Habit Seven: Sharpen the Saw
