With a unanimous vote by he Board of Education placed a replacement parcel tax on the March 8th ballot. With 100% of the precincts reporting, 68.0% of Alameda voters supported Measure A.
At a special meeting, the Board reported they have authorized staff to
vigorously defend the district from the lawsuit filed in April, 2011. On September, 13, 2011, the judge in favor of AUSD. Here is the press release.
